Magna Business Park_main

Magna Business Park, is the first new employment location to have been released within the Bournemouth/Poole conurbation for many years, has outline planning consent for up to 170,000 sq. ft. of industrial and warehouse units, is one of the area’s biggest development sites at 10.7 acres and is immediately available for development.

Project Description

The new industrial/distribution space will be developed as a low-carbon employment zone and will utilise modern technologies providing electric car charging points, green energy generated through solar panels and recycling of rainwater.

Magna Business Park is a key employment site with the flexibility to offer leasehold or freehold buildings within 12-months of securing detailed planning consents. The site will feature the following benefits:

  • Renewable energy in the form of hot water and electricity supplied directly from the adjoining Canford Renewable Energy Power Station;
  • Attractive landscaped environment;
  • Ecological features created to enhance the biodiversity of Magna Business Park and reinforce the boundaries of adjacent habitats;
  • Adjoining land will be set aside for seating areas and an informal footpath circuit for the use of employees during their break periods;
  • The adjoining Canford Park Arena is available for mounting trade exhibitions and other events; and
  • 3G Football pitches have been developed on adjoining land and will be available for use by employees.

The employment park will create between 1,100-1,650 jobs and contribute an estimated £96 million to the local economy each year.  The proposed uses will be B1(c), B2/B8 units and will not include heavy industry or pure offices.
